When a csv.design purchase may be refunded before download, after a technical problem, or where applicable law requires it.
Before the first download
You may request a voluntary full refund within 14 days of purchase if no HTML template covered by the purchase has been downloaded and the purchased entitlement has not otherwise been used. For a Studio Pack, no template covered by that purchase may have been downloaded.
After downloading an HTML template
Once an HTML template has been downloaded, the purchase is not eligible for a voluntary change-of-mind refund. This does not affect refunds or other remedies required by law, Paddle’s applicable buyer terms, or this policy’s provisions for duplicate charges, unauthorised transactions, non-delivery, or material defects.
Technical problems and material defects
If a technical problem materially prevents the purchased product from operating as described, contact support@csv.design with a description of the problem. Do not send us your CSV or other sensitive information.
We will first make a reasonable attempt to correct the problem or provide a replacement. If we cannot do so within a reasonable period, we may approve a full or partial refund through Paddle. This does not limit remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Additional template slots
An additional template slot may be refunded within 14 days if the slot has not been used to create, duplicate, or download a template. Once used, it is not eligible for a voluntary refund.
Editor subscriptions and AI top-ups
Editor monthly is a monthly subscription. For each payment, if editor access is active the month begins when the existing access period ends; otherwise, it begins after confirmed payment. The 14-day voluntary refund window is measured from that start date, not the payment date. A refund may be requested during that window only if no editor, smart-edit, or download feature has been used during the month. Once any of these features is used, that month is not eligible for a voluntary refund. You can cancel future renewals at any time from the Billing page. Usage during an earlier access period does not count as using a future month. An AI top-up may be refunded within 14 days only if none of its added allowance has been used.
Editor annual is an annual subscription that renews every 12 months until cancelled and cannot be paused. You may cancel future renewals from the Billing page, through Paddle or by contacting support@csv.design. Cancellation does not refund the current paid period or end its editor access early. For an initial or renewal payment, the 14-day voluntary refund window starts when the editor-access period covered by that payment begins, not when payment is taken. A refund may be requested during that window only if no editor, smart-edit, or download feature has been used during that period. Once used, that paid period is not eligible for a voluntary refund, subject to Paddle’s process and rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Duplicate and unauthorised payments
Duplicate charges and transactions not authorised by the payment-account holder will be investigated and handled through Paddle. Evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or chargeback abuse may result in suspension of online access.
How to request a refund
To submit a refund request on our website, sign in to the account used for the purchase, open Billing, and select Request a refund beside the purchase. A billing record is required. We use your account email and the selected purchase details to review the request. You can also use Paddle’s buyer-support process. Do not include a CSV or other sensitive information. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method where possible.
If a purchase is refunded, reversed, charged back, or found to be fraudulent, the licence and online entitlements granted by that purchase terminate. You must stop using and distributing the affected HTML template and delete copies under your control. The fact that a file remains technically accessible on a device does not grant permission to continue using it.
Mandatory rights and Paddle terms
Nothing in this policy limits refund, withdrawal, repair, replacement, or other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Paddle may apply country-specific buyer protections or issue a refund under its own buyer terms and refund process. Where a mandatory right or Paddle requirement provides greater protection, it applies to the extent required.
